About Us

“Cattail Forest” Bengals Cattery is registered with the TICA by Pam Bell.

We are a small cattery in a suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan, called Belmont. Tinker Bell is our only queen and our family caters to her and her kittens. My husband, Steve, is self-employed in the furniture and appliance business and I work at a healthcare organization. We have two daughters, both of whom are in college.

Tinker Bell is a completely untarnished Silver Spotted Bengal. She has beautiful wild-looking eyes with white ocelli and nose “leather.” She is very loving and purrs continuously and loves being with people.

“Tinkers” is agile and jumps extremely high. Very smart and inquisitive, Tink has been taught to sit for her treats. Like many other Bengals, she loves to play in the water.

About her name… Bengals don’t mellow with age, but remain playful into old age. They’re said to “never grow up” like in the fairytale Peter Pan. For that reason and because our family’s last name is Bell, we kept her given name Tinker Bell.

Cattail Forest Bengals will remain a small cattery. Tinker Bell enjoys free run of the house and enjoys teasing her housemate Maggie, a Border Terrier. Kittens are raised with much handling, socialization, love and affection.
